bonding

hi was wondering how do you get your treasurer bonded in the past we have never had this do but always budget for this i am the new pto president and want to make sure we do things right any help would be greatly appreciated

Bonding is actually a type of insurance. We strongly recommend that you do get bonding insurance as an important way to protect your assets. The article Insurance: Do You Need It? walks you through the ins and outs of insurance for your parent group. PTO Today has a plan specifically for parent groups that we put together through a major insurer. For most groups, the rate is significantly lower than what you can get on your own.
